Walk

From the car park, turn right to head toward the High Street of Glastonbury town. Walk all the way along the High Street to reach Lambrook Street, turning right onto this. Follow this road down as it turns into Chilkwell Street. Continue on past Chalice Well and Gardens, then take the next left onto Wellhouse Lane.

Head over the cattle grid and take the immediate right path, signed as a public footpath. Follow this footpath up to the top of Glastonbury Tor.

When you have finished at the top, head on down the path on the opposite site of the tower to where you arrived. Follow the path down and across the field to reach Stone Down Lane. Take a left here, and follow the lane down, passing by a bench on your right. Continue on until you reach a kissing gate to your right.

Pass through the kissing gate and head across the field to reach another kissing gate. Walk down the tree lined path, to reach Bulwarks Lane. Briefly walk along the lane and then head on the right hand path and continue straight ahead, passing through another kissing gate. Follow this path as it declines the hill, eventually reaching Dod Lane.

Follow Dod Lane to reach Chilkwell Street, and turn right. Follow the road then take a left onto Silver Street, which runs adjacent to the High Street. Follow the road until its end, then turn right to join up with High Street. Turn left onto the High Street, and then follow the road round to the left and back to the car park and start point of the walk.
