A varied and engaging walk featuring a mix of riverside paths (some firm, some natural earth), quiet country lanes, and potentially some woodland trails. Expect gentle to moderate undulations as you follow the river's course and navigate between the two villages. Paths can be muddy and prone to puddles, especially after rain or in wetter seasons. Sturdy, comfortable, waterproof walking boots are highly recommended for both you and your dog.
Accessibility: Due to uneven riverside paths, potential mud, and stretches on quiet country lanes (shared with traffic), this walk is generally not suitable for those with significant mobility issues or standard pushchairs for the full loop.- Facilities:

- Dog Notes:
This is a fantastic and very dog-friendly walk, offering a wonderful blend of riverside beauty, charming villages, and stunning natural features! Dogs are welcome throughout much of the route. However, dogs should be kept on a lead in busier village sections, around sensitive wildlife areas (like the riverbanks), and whenever on country lanes (due to traffic). Well-behaved dogs with excellent recall can enjoy some off-lead freedom in quieter, open sections of the riverside path away from other users, but vigilance is key.
