- Terrain:
Terrain: A varied landscape primarily consisting of grassy downland paths, some compacted earth tracks, and potentially muddy sections, especially after rain or during wetter seasons. The terrain is undulating, with significant, sometimes steep, inclines and declines as you explore the chalk downs. Good, sturdy, comfortable walking boots with excellent grip are absolutely essential for both you and your dog, as chalk can be very slippery when wet.
Accessibility: Due to the steep slopes, uneven grassy paths, and potential for mud, this walk is not suitable for those with significant mobility issues or pushchairs beyond the immediate viewpoint from the car park.
