Walk
From Marsden Station, go down Station Road. Turn right to cross the bridge which goes over the river and onto Church Lane. Take the road passing by the church and straight ahead onto Fall Lane. Take this road through the tunnel which goes underneath the A62. Turn right heading towards the roundabout. Cross the roundabout then head up Binn Road.
Leave Binn Road when you see a public bridleway sign by a track to your right. Follow this, the main Wessenden Valley track up the Wessenden Valley. It will emerge after a good while onto the Wessenden Head Road, near to where it reaches a junction with the A635.
Take this track up the Wessenden Valley, you will pass by four reservoirs - Butterley, Blakeley, Wessenden and Wessenden Head.
Upon reaching Wessenden Head reservoir, you can turn around to follow the route back to the walk start point in Marsden, and the National Trust Marsden Moor Estate.
