- 3.70 miles
- Time:
- 2.00 hours
- Difficulty:
- Easy
- Terrain:
Terrain: A beautiful sandy beach mixed with some pebbles, particularly closer to the river mouth and at high tide. The beach is generally flat. To the west, the path leads onto the South West Coast Path, which can involve moderate inclines and uneven terrain. To the east, you can often access a flat path alongside the River Seaton. Expect areas to be wet and potentially soft, especially near the river or at low tide. Sturdy, comfortable walking shoes are recommended, and waterproof footwear if exploring beyond the main beach.
Accessibility: Access to the beach from the car park is generally flat and easy. Once on the beach, the sand can be soft, which may be challenging for pushchairs or wheelchairs. The adjacent riverside path is also generally flat. The South West Coast Path to the west is not accessible for those with mobility issues.
