- Terrain:
You will be walking entirely on unpaved forestry tracks and woodland paths. Because the valley is deep and sheltered, these tracks can get incredibly muddy, rooty, and slippery, especially during the winter months or after heavy rain. The ascents and descents are genuinely steep. A sturdy pair of waterproof walking boots is highly recommended.

About this Walk
This walk is all about ancient trees, deep valleys, and peaceful waters. You'll descend into a historic woodland (once a medieval deer park!), follow a stream to the edge of a village, and loop back along the picturesque West Looe River.
