The Walk
A circular walk around part of an impressive country park.
Map with thanks to Ordnance Survey.
Walk
1 From the car park, with the lake on your left head out along the path. Follow the path as it heads north and continue on it with the lake always relatively close to your left side. Follow this all the way round to point 2 on the map.
2 When you reach this point, at Byrom Lane, follow this (keeping to the pavement), then turn right to follow the road bend. Carefully cross the road and go down Green Lane, on your left. Follow this lane and it turns into a path. Follow the path and the lake will be on your left. The path leads back to the car park, just keep the lake to your left for the duration.
