How to get there: Leave M60 at Junction 5, or M56 at Junction 3, onto Princess Parkway; turn off onto B5166 west towards Sale Moor, then at the first traffic lights turn left towards Brooklands on the B5167, Wythenshawe Road. Drive half a mile and turn into the Park main entrance on your left.

The Walk
A circular walk in open parkland.

Walk
1 Leave the car park and head sothward on the road. Take a right at the end of the park, just before the bridge. Follow the path through the trees.
2 Turn right here and continue to follow the path. Cross into the woodland on the left when you can and follow the path as it loops round to the sports ground.
3 Take a left here and follow the path straight ahead. Turn right after the building, then take a left to go through the path in the tress.
4 Once you reach the entry road, turn right, walk a little way then take the first left, opposite the playing courts. Walk straight ahead on the track, turning right when you reach the t-junction. Follow this track southward, then turn right onto the next track when you can. Follow this back up to where you entered the walk at point 1, next to the bridge.
