Walk
1. From the car park, head back out to the road. Turn left and follow the footpath alongside the road, down past the shops. Take the first road on the right (Easedale Road) and continue on this road which passes by a number of houses.
2. You will reach a footbridge on your left, just before you reach Oak Lodge. Go across the footbridge and continue straight ahead through the trees and over another smaller, stone footbridge. Follow this path with the stream on your right. Pass a footbridge on your right and continue straight ahead, keeping a stone wall to your left. If you continue to follow the path, ignoring one on your left, you will ascend up to reach a waterfall. The area will flatten out after this and you will reach the tarn after a short distance.
3. Once at the tarn, have a rest and take in the wonderful scenery. When you are ready to return, head back on the route that you arrived.
