How to get there: From Keswick, take the A591 to Carlisle. After the first roundabout, take the first right turn to Skiddaw. The car park is at the end of the narrow road.

The Walk
A circular walk on one of the lowest fells in the Lake District.

Walk
1. Head through the gate at the end of the car park. Turn right through the next gate, then left onto the path. Follow the path as it climbs.
2. The path turns sharply to the left. Follow this as it climbs still further, heading through a gate after a little while, to continue straight ahead.
3. When you reach the edge of a hill, head through the middle of the field. A path will head off to the left, take this before turning left to head along the track. Continue on, along the fence line and woodland being kept to your right. The track you are on will turn sharply to the right. If you head through a gate, remaining on the path and you will reach the car park to end the walk.
