Useful Information
How to get there: From Keswick, take the A66 toward Cockermouth. Follow signs for Braithwaite on the B5292/Whinlatter Pass. Head through Braithwaite and on to Noble Knott car park on your left (identified by a green signpost on the road), just following a lay-by to your right.

The Walk

Walk
1. From the car park follow the path ahead of the information board. Head onto the left path which has a number of small ascents and descents. Upon meeting another wider track, take a left. Then a little further on take the path to your right.
2. Continue on before taking a path to your left. Upon seeing the farm gate, turn right to follow on the path to reach the edge of the forest. Pass over a stream before the path bends on to the right.
3. Cross over the wider path when reaching it, and continue on straight ahead. Follow the narrow path on your right to cross some small bridges. Continue straight, and follow the path as it bends to the right. Head on this path until you reach the walk start point and car park.
